A NURSE from Conwy has been suspended following a disciplinary panel hearing.
Rebecca McNamara, a registered adult nurse, was handed an interim suspension order for a period of 12 months.
Her case was heard by the Nursing and Midwifery Council investigating committee at a hearing on August 9.
A panel will review the suspension order within the next six months and every six months thereafter, barring a material change of circumstances.
The report into the hearing stated: "A panel will be invited by the NMC to confirm the interim suspension order at this meeting and Mrs McNamara will be notified of the panel’s decision in writing following that meeting.

"Where there has been a material change of circumstances that might mean that the order should be revoked or replaced, or there has been a request for an early review, a panel will review the interim order at a hearing which Mrs McNamara will be invited to attend in person, send a representative on Mrs McNamara’s behalf or submit written representations for the panel to consider.
"At any such review hearing the panel may revoke the interim order, it may confirm the interim suspension order or it may replace it with an interim conditions of practice order.
"A panel of the Fitness to Practise Committee has still to deal with the allegations made against Mrs McNamara.
"The NMC will keep Mrs McNamara informed of developments in relation to that issue.
"This will be confirmed to Mrs McNamara in writing."
