"I’m beyond grateful for everyone in Aberconwy, staff and friends, for making this dream a reality.”
Felix added: “I can’t quite say I was expecting this but I sure can’t complain about it! We’ve all worked hard for these exams and I am very proud of all my friends. Get ready Lancaster Uni!”
Other outstanding performances were made by Martha Hughes (Adult nursing in Cardiff), Zak Parry (Chemistry at Manchester), Amber Williams (Product Design at Bangor), and Catrin Jones (Medicine at Bangor).
A number of other students have gained the qualifications they need to take them into a range of careers – like Luke Corcoran who will take one of a small number of coveted apprenticeships with Scottish Power.
The school said it is especially proud of Mykhailo 'Misha' Yushchenko, who joined the school when he and his family fled from the war in Ukraine two years ago.
With very little knowledge of our education system or language, he worked extremely hard to achieve 3 A-Levels and an AS level and will go on to study Philosophy at a university in London.
Headteacher Ian Gerrard congratulated all students and staff on their results and wished them all the very best for their future.
He said: “I’m delighted in the achievements of our students this year and I’m encouraged to see that such a wide and varied selection of courses are being followed by our young people across the UK.
"We wish them well for the future and look forward to hearing of their continued success in the years to come.”
