THE Llandudno Christmas Extravaganza will not be held this year, its organisers have confirmed.
Typically held across a weekend in November, the free event first took place in 2021, and then returned in the following two years.
But its organisers have made the decision for it to not go ahead this year with “great sadness” and due to “personal circumstances”.
The town’s Victorian Extravaganza, held during the May bank holiday weekend, is set to return in 2025, though.

A statement read: “It is with great sadness and after a lot of consideration I must announce that the Llandudno Christmas Extravaganza will not be going ahead this year.
“Due to personal circumstances, it is no longer something we can continue to organise.
“I hope that another group or organisation decides to organise an event for the town as it is something Llandudno needs.
“If we hear of anyone taking it on, the information will be posted here.
“The Victorian Extravaganza will focus on the 2025 May event. The remaining committee will meet soon and details of how to get involved will be shared on this page.”
The first extravaganza in 2021 attracted roughly 30,000 people.
The event has featured stall holders, live music and entertainment, street food and more in previous years.
