Janet Finch-Saunders, Member of the Welsh Parliament for Aberconwy has wished the Royal Welsh Show competitors from the area well ahead of this weeks event.
This top British and European agricultural event runs from July 22 to 25.
Ms Finch-Saunders spoke highly of her constituents, saying: "Farmers in Aberconwy have a long history of success at this magnificent show.
"Animals such as ponies, Bluefaced Leicester, and Jacob Sheep, and much more from Conwy County have all received top prizes over several years."
Mrs Finch-Saunders expressed confidence in further success and hopes that the Royal Welsh, the biggest rural show in Europe, would once more be a platform for rural Wales to influence agricultural policies.
She also said: "With one of Wales’s most influential farmers, Gareth Wyn Jones being a constituent, I have every confidence that Aberconwy and North Wales will leave a positive mark at the show again this year."
