A ROAD in Conwy is set to close for two weeks to improve drainage as part of a flood alleviation scheme.
The B5106 will be closed between Trefriw and Dolgarrog from Monday, 22 July until Monday, 5 August for the work to be undertaken.
A Conwy County Borough Council spokesperson said: "The work at Little Canada will be completed later this week.

"Our second site is at Coed Gwydir South, where we will enlarge the culvert and add a new drain into the side road.
"During the work, the road will be closed at this section. Please follow the diversion.
"While the B5106 is closed, the 19 bus service will continue to visit Trefriw (as far as Memorial/Woollen Mill), but will not travel through to Dolgarrog."
