BRIDGERTON fever has swept over the staff and volunteers at the RSPCA Bryn y Maen Animal Centre in Colwyn Bay as the hit Netflix show returns with its new season this summer.

The centre is currently looking for homes for a host of animals, dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets and mice all looking for their forever home with their perfect match.

One of these is a cat called Lord Potato who is patiently awaiting his perfect match this season.

Animal care assistant Sarah Davies said: “Lord Potato just loves a cosy bed to lounge around in and is a quiet lad who leads a simple, relaxing life.

“We can’t understand why he has not found his perfect match - but we hope this is the season for him!”

While Lady Georgiaton is a rabbit who could live with a sassy or cool, calm and collected neutered male rabbit.

Sadly, one-year-old Georgia was abandoned - but is now safe and sound at the centre.

Sarah said: “Georgia has such a gentle nature and could live with another neutered rabbit.

“She is certainly a lady in our eyes and would fit into any type of home whether indoors or outdoors.”

The centre also has dogs Lord Oakley and Lord Barney who are looking for someone special.

Sarah added: “Both Oakley and Barney are looking for a foster home with the view to adopt once they have settled in.

“They are both border collie cross breeds and we are really hoping to find them the perfect place to call their own."

Staff and volunteers are hoping to find:

  • A home with a secure garden for them to explore and play in.
  • A safe area inside where a crate can be placed.
  • To live in a quieter area.
  • For any children to be secondary school age or above.
  • A family who would be happy to foster with the view to adopt once they have settled in.

To make an inquiry about one of the rescued pets at the centre, please fill out a perfect match form.
