A WOMAN who died when a van in which she was a passenger collided with a tree and wall has been named.
Doreen Brough, of Blythe Bridge Road, Caverswall, Stone-on-Trent, was in a Peugeot Partner van being driven by her husband on the A547 Conwy Road in Colwyn Bay on July 3 when the collision occurred.
No other vehicle was involved.
The 77-year-old was taken to Glan Clwyd Hospital but died the following day.
At the opening of an inquest in Ruthin John Gittins, senior coroner for North Wales East and Central, said the provisional cause of death had been given as multiple injuries.
Mrs Brough’s husband was seriously injured and remains at the Royal Stoke University Hospital.
The inquest was adjourned to a date to be fixed.
