A Wetherspoon pub in Colwyn Bay could soon have a new beer garden.
JD Wetherspoon PLC has applied to Conwy County Council, seeking planning permission for the beer garden at The Picture House, Princes Drive.
The pub company wants to create the beer garden on vacant land on a brownfield site adjacent to the pub.
But the publican requires a change of use for the land.

According to the plans, the beer garden would be placed at the side of the building and feature a covered area.
Heated by lamps, the stalls would be separated and roofed, sheltering tables and chairs.
The area would be fenced and include a separate area for bins and recycling.
If granted, the beer garden’s use would reflect the pub’s opening hours.
The pub is currently open Monday to Friday 8am – 12am; Saturday 8am – 1am, and Sunday and bank holidays 8am – 12am.
The land is currently vacant.
