A VICTORIAN-era hotel in Llandudno has welcomed back visitors following an extensive refurbishment.

Cae Mor Hotel, located on the town’ promenade, has today (June 21) unveiled a new look after a modern redesign.

Using numerous providers, suppliers and tradespeople from nearby, the hotel’s revamp includes 22 rooms, 15 of which offer views of North Wales' coastline.

The reinvestment has also created 20 new jobs, meanwhile.

Accessible rooms and family rooms are also available, at the refurbished hotel, which is located next door to Venue Cymru, and also hopes to appeal to business delegates and corporates attending events such as concerts, and conferences.

The hotel's 1890 Restaurant and Bar has also been revamped into a fine dining venue that highlights the best of Welsh cuisine.

General manager Nicola said: “Cae Mor Hotel boasts the spacious car parking facilities on the promenade, which is something that’s coveted by many of our guests, as well as air conditioning throughout the property.

"It's been a pleasure working as part of this team, and we look forward to going above and beyond for our guests to ensure our standards match our new look.

“Llandudno is a thriving destination, and it's our goal to continue promoting this fantastic destination, encouraging footfall, and welcoming guests from far and wide to this fabulous town.

“Although it's a Victorian gem, it's our responsibility to bring it into the modern era, and we feel we have done this by combining the building's original charm with some much-needed modern conveniences.”
