A MAN from Old Colwyn who studies in Bangor is working on Taylor Swift’s Eras tour shows in Liverpool this week.
More than 150,000 “Swifties” will see the singer perform at Anfield on June 13, 14 and 15.
James Hopkins, 25, who studies level three music technology at Coleg Menai, is working as stage crew for the three shows.
He has been building the stage this week, and will be on hand to help with any lighting, sound or other production issues once Taylor Swift takes to the stage.

He said: “It’s mad, isn’t it? You get to see how it all works.
“You’ve got jobs to do during the shows but sometimes, you get to listen to the music as well.”
James also plays guitar and can sometimes be seen busking in Chester.
He has a track, Reverie, on this year's album from Coleg Menai's music department, Cerdd Menai Music 23/24, which is available on Spotify.
James added: “I’m a musician, and I wanted to make a living out of doing something I enjoy doing.”
