SIGHTSEEING TOURS in Llandudno, Rhos-on-Sea and Conwy town did not go ahead today (June 6), due to the Tour of Britain Women taking place.

Alpine Travel, which runs sightseeing tours in the towns, as well as of the Great Orme, confirmed the news yesterday.

Departing from Welshpool, racers have embarked on a daring first day of the tour with 2,276m of climbing.
