A MOTORCYCLIST from Colwyn Bay has been charged with drink-driving and driving without insurance after being arrested in Llandudno Junction shortly before midnight on June 4.

Police had received a report of a male riding a motorcycle while intoxicated, before the bike was later found and the rider stopped on the Tremarl Industrial Estate.

He provided a positive roadside breath test and was taken to custody.

The man, 30, will appear before Llandudno Magistrates Court’ on June 19.

His motorcycle was also seized.
