A NEW Tesco Express store will open in Llandudno later this week.
The shop, based at 87-89 Mostyn Street, will welcome customers for the first time at 8am on Thursday (June 6).

As well as providing a wide range of food, the new shop will also be involved in two community programmes - Tesco Stronger Starts and Community Food Connection.
Tesco Express Llandudno store manager, Hannah Roberts, said: “We are extremely excited to be opening our Llandudno store and helping to serve the local community.
“We want to offer great value to our customers and the benefits of Tesco Clubcard and Clubcard Prices.
“We’ve got 23 colleagues joining the team and we know that their local knowledge and experience will be so important as we look to build connections and play our part in the community.”
In the last five years, Tesco’s customers in Wales have already helped to raise more than £6.5million for schools and good causes through its Stronger Starts blue token scheme.
The Community Food Connection scheme, which launched in 2015, has also donated nearly six million meals to charities in Wales.
This scheme helps prevent surplus food going to waste from Tesco stores and distribution centres.
