West End star Carrie Hope Fletcher is coming to Llandudno as part of the cast of Calamity Jane.
The multiple award-winning actress, known for her performances in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella and Heathers, will lead the revival of the Broadway and West End hit musical.
This UK and Ireland tour by Jamie Wilson Productions is set to open at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre on January 14, 2025, marking a decade since the musical comedy last hit the road.
Llandudno's Venue Cymru will host the performance on August 26-30 2025, in what promises to be a treat for fans of theatre and Fletcher alike.
Ms Fletcher said: "Calamity Jane is one of those roles that doesn’t come around all too often.
"She’s action, romance and comedy all packed into one character, and I can’t wait to take on the challenge of filling her shoes!"
Nikolai Foster, artistic director at Curve Theatre, will be heading the creative team along with choreographer Nick Winston, orchestration and music supervisor Catherine Jayes, and Set and Costume Designer Matthew Wright.
The lighting design will be done by Tim Mitchell, while Ben Harrison does the sound design.
Producer Ms Wilson said: "With this new version of Calamity Jane first opening at The Watermill Theatre in 2014, I am delighted to be collaborating with them again to finally bring this wonderful production back to theatres all over the country after a 10-year absence."
The musical is based on the much-loved Doris Day, it features catchy classics like The Deadwood Stage (Whip-Crack-Away), The Black Hills of Dakota, Just Blew in from the Windy City, and the Oscar-winning Secret Love.
Ms Fletcher, a three-time WhatsOnStage Best Actress in a Musical winner, is also a 2022 Grammy nominee for two competing Musical Theatre Albums.
Apart from theatre, she is a bestselling author and has more than 635,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
