A RESTAURANT in Conwy has been upgraded to ‘exceptional’ in The Good Food Guide, as the establishment continues to take the restaurant world by storm.

The Jackdaw, on High Street, was promoted following an inspection this year, with the new designation placing it among the top three per cent in the UK.

The restaurant was opened by Llandudno-raised head chef Nick Rudge, who trained at Heston Blumenthal’s The Fat Duck, in October 2021 and has won critical acclaim in the three years since.
