Dementia Action Week is in full swing in Abergele and surrounding area.
Staff at an Abergele school attended an information session as part of the awareness week.
Ysgol Glan Gele infant school invited Dementia Friendly Abergele in for the session, creating 30 new Dementia Friends.
Also, there was a great turnout from local organisations, schools, businesses and groups, at an open evening to mark the re-launch of Dementia Friendly Abergele
Newly appointed mayor Diane Green in attended, as well as lots of other new and familiar faces from Abergele, Kinmel Bay and Llanddulas.
Jan from Tesco, who implemented the first ever dementia friendly aisle which was then picked up by other Tesco stores, was also there.
At the weekend, the Trek26 team from Abergele and nearby travel to London to walk the 26.2mile route.
The combined fundraising total for the group this year currently exceeds £5,000.
