THE Llandudno Victorian Extravaganza enjoyed a joyous return yesterday (May 4) as the 2024 event got underway.
This free three-day event, which celebrates its 40th anniversary next year, takes over the town’s main roads, and includes street entertainment, vintage rides, modern attractions, stall holders, face painting, and tractors and engines.
Highlights from the first day included a Victorian dress competition, musical performances from the George Formby Society, Rock Choir, Llandudno Swing Band and more, and acts such as Mario Morris' Outdoor Magic Experience, Lady Vee (balloon artist), and Dr Diablo's Side Show.
Below, you can enjoy more photos from day one of the 2024 extravaganza, which is based on the main streets of the town's centre.
The extravaganza continues today and tomorrow, and is being run simultaneously with the Llandudno Transport Festival at Bodafon Fields.
These two events are connected by a free “hop on, hop off” shuttle bus service from Vaughan Street.
