A HOTEL in Gwynedd was the joint-winner of a series of episodes of Channel 4’s “Four in a Bed”, which a guest house in Llandudno also competed in.
The Queens Hotel in Harlech and Rosaire Guest House in Llandudno competed against The Mill at Glynhir in Llandybie and Hideaway Escapes in Pembrokeshire, with filming have taken place in September 2022.
Four in a Bed sees each venue host their fellow competitors, who then pay what they think their stay was worth, with the cash amount kept secret until the end of the competition.
On Friday (April 26), The Queens Hotel was revealed as joint-winners with The Mill at Glynhir, after both received a final bill average of 100 per cent.
Rosaire Guest House took third place with a final bill average of 97 per cent, meanwhile.

Rachel and Liam Madigan, of The Queens Hotel, have put the plaque they earned for being joint-winners proudly on display behind the venue’s bar.
They said: “I think we came across quite well; better than we thought it would! It was a good experience - a lot more filming than we realised.
“The reaction since last week has been amazing, a lot of people said we really did Harlech proud. We’ve had loads of bookings and phone calls since, so we’ve done quite well.”
Jo Beckett, who runs Rosaire Guest House with her mum, Pat, said they both had a “fabulous” time filming the show.
The show also marked a reunion of sorts for Pat and Liam, having previously taught him to drive.
“We really enjoyed doing it,” Jo said.
“Off the back of some of the comments, we now have amazing tasteful furniture, and (walls) have been re-wallpapered.
“We’ve had amazing comments and lot of positive feedback - everybody wants to meet mum!”
Jo and Pat took their guests to Llandudno Pier, which included a ride on its Ferris wheel and a stop for ice cream, and later, a trip to a pub for a drink.
Rachel and Liam, meanwhile, took their visitors on a guided tour of Harlech Castle, where they could take in the “stunning” views it offers.
This was followed by an evening drink in the hotel bar, where Liam reprised the Ali G outfit he used to don while DJing.
Liam added: “It was probably the last time I’ll probably do the Ali G impression!”
You can watch last week’ episodes back on All 4.
