CREATIVITY and community will be celebrated through an exciting dance project which will culminate with a performance in Theatr Colwyn.
Together for Colwyn Bay (T4CB), in collaboration with Colwyn Bay Writers’ Circle, Dawns i Bawb and TAPE Music and Film, is preparing to host its much-anticipated performance of its innovative community dance project on May 18 at 6pm.
The performance called 'Our Square Mile' will mark the end of months of hard work. The artistic expression will include participants of all ages and the performance will be a blend of dance, film and poetry.
A spokesperson for T4CB said: "Empowering Community Through Dance Initiated in October 2023, the community dance project aimed to foster personal growth, health, and social well-being through the art of dance. Participants ranging from children to adults have been exploring movement and expression, guided by professional instructors who are proficient in both Welsh and English. This inclusive program has welcomed individuals from all backgrounds, ensuring everyone in Colwyn Bay has the opportunity to participate and express themselves through dance."
