NEEDLES were seen among storm debris on a walkway in Rhos-on-Sea.
A walker spied two syringes in the debris on the morning of April 10.
Plastic bottles and beer and drink cans were also spied among the waste.
The North Wales coast was battered by very strong winds and high tides on Tuesday, April 9; a yellow weather warning for wind was in force between 1am and 3pm.
Martin Davies posted on Rhos on Sea community group on social media: "I’ve just got back from one of my regular morning walks, the lower promenade/ walkway along Marine Drive from Abbey Road to the Golf Course is covered with after the storm debris and litter.
"Take care if you’re going to walk along the path as I saw one or two needles in the debris."
Cllr Jo Nuttall, of Rhos ward, said the discovery had been reported.

She added: "Conwy County Borough Council are working hard in areas affected by the storm yesterday.
"We'd ask residents to please use the Environment, Roads and Facilities (ERF) reporting tool to alert the council to any debris or damage."
Clean-up operations are underway in the wake of Storm Pierrick.
A spokesperson for Conwy County Borough Council said on April 9: "Council teams are out preparing for the high tide and are monitoring the situation closely at locations along our coastline.
"Inspections will be carried out at various sites after the storm subsides."
