A PERSON whose vehicle became partially submerged in water had to be rescued.
Llandudno Coastguard were called out on Tuesday, April 9 to Llanfairfechan. This was in connection to tidal flooding and incidents that had arisen in relation to the yellow weather warning for wind.
Bangor Coastguard helped rescue the casualty from the submerged vehicle.
Members of Llandudno CRT were deployed to check on the welfare of residents at a number of nearby flooded properties.
A statement from Llandudno Coastguard said: "Fortunately, nobody was in any serious danger.
"Problems were experienced across the North Wales coast as a result of very high tides and strong northerly winds. These conditions are expected to be repeated at around 12.15am on Wednesday, April 10, 12.30pm Wednesday, April 10 and 1.16pm Thursday, April 11.
"These times are based on high tide at Llandudno. Please check the tide times for your location.
"Please stay away from low-lying coastal areas at these times. The sea is unpredictable and unforgiving, and it is very easy to be caught unawares and find yourself in serious danger."
Anyone who find themselves in trouble or becomes aware of someone in distress on the coast should call 999 and ask for the coastguard.
