A POPULAR bakery in Craig-y-Don is preparing to opening its second shop in Llandudno town centre.
Benjamin Lee Artisan Bakery, who make breads, cakes and delicious patisseries, are opening their second store on Market Street, where R.Evans Butchers used to be.
The Craig-y-Don bakery is currently closed until April 9, to allow the team to prepare for the opening.
Earlier in March, Benjamin Lee Artisan Bakery started their recruitment process for the new branch in town; a sandwich bar and shop assistant was being sought.
Husband and wife Benjamin and Dominika Lee opened Benjamin Lee Artisan Bakery, at 21 Mostyn Avenue, Craig-y-Don, on April 12, 2022. Dominika, a former account manager, runs the shop and café, while Benjamin, with more than 30 years’ experience to draw on, is the baker and chocolatier.
The couple, who married in 2021, focus on sourdough-based produce and embracing the shop’s Welsh roots.
