MULTI-million-pound plans for a six-lane bowling alley, rooftop bar, and an extended amusement arcade at a popular Towyn holiday Park have been revealed.
SF Parks has applied to Conwy County Council’s planning department, seeking permission for the plans at Golden Gate Holiday Centre in Towyn.
The plans include relocating the reception and admin offices, centralising the business’ operations.
SF Parks says the new proposed facilities will complement the renovated clubhouse and new swimming pool at the site.

The business also hopes to increase the current seven-and-a-half-month season to 10 and a half months, boosting jobs and the economy by enticing local people to use facilities.
SF Parks also owns White House Leisure Park, Riverside and Sun Valley in Rhuddlan, and Sirior Bach in Moelfre, Abergele.
The company’s directors Oliver and Jonathan Seldon explained their plans.
“Bringing people to the area throughout the year, not just in the summer, is vital for Towyn and the surrounding areas, which is why the application to extend the season at Golden Gate to ten and a half months goes hand-in-hand with our plans to transform the leisure facilities and continue improving the experience for our loyal customers,” said Jonathan.
Oliver added: “Our plans for Golden Gate and White House will be followed by improvements at our other parks, as across the portfolio we want to continue creating high-quality facilities for families to enjoy.
“We have had tremendous feedback from (caravan) owners, from the community and businesses who all want to see more things to do, more jobs, and a thriving Towyn all year round – our commitment to further investment reflects that.”
The company recently had an application approved to build a new high ropes course, spa, sauna, and gym complex together with a wine bar at the neighbouring White House Leisure Park.
The plans are likely be debated at a future Conwy County Council planning committee meeting.
