A PERSON has reportedly been hit by a bus in Old Colwyn.
There is a large police presence this afternoon (April 2) on the A547 Abergele Road.
There is slow traffic due to accident and the road is closed.
Welsh Ambulance Services and the Wales Air Ambulance are both in attendance.
A person at the scene told the Pioneer: "Abergele Road in Old Colwyn closed with a large North Wales Police presence in the area. Traffic is bad within the side streets.
"It looks like the bus has possibly hit someone."
A spokesperson for North Wales Police said: "We were called at 3.09pm today to reports of a RTC involving a bus and a pedestrian, on Abergele Road Old Colwyn, outside Aldi.
"Officers are in attendance alongside colleagues from WAST and the road is currently closed.
"Traffic is currently heavy and motorists are advised to avoid the area until further notice."
The Welsh Ambulance Service and Wales Air Ambulance have all been contacted for further details.
