A POPULAR art gallery in Colwyn Bay has reopened at the BayView Shopping Centre, after leaving its high street home of eight years earlier this month.
Bay Gallery has relocated to the shopping centre after closing its Station Road site on March 1, citing a “lack of footfall, no markets and no traffic” on the high street.
The new gallery was opened with the help of Mayor of the Bay of Colwyn, Cllr Hannah Fleet, and other artists from the area.
The gallery first opened in 2011, before making the move to Station Road in 2016.

“We thank our 128 members, artists and crafters, and our lovely volunteers who keep this community gallery vibrant.
“The new gallery will be open Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to take in arts and crafts.”
