A WOMAN from Llanrwst has won £10,000 in a competition run by SPAR.
The winner, Sarah, discovered the competition at the SPAR store on Ancaster Square, Llanrwst, and was both shocked and delighted to learn she had won the grand prize.
SPAR Llanrwst store owners, Sara and Justin McIlveen, said: “It’s great to see a regular customer win such a large cash prize.
“It brings a bit of excitement to our store and the Llanrwst community.”

The competition, known for its focus on money-saving opportunities, was launched following the success of the Mr Beast Spinner Winner collaboration last summer.
It involved 340,000 participants, with the digital wheel spun 380,000 times, leading to more than 51,000 online entries.
The Yule Spinner Winner not only offered customers the chance to win £10,000, but also had many instant win prizes and money off key store cupboard staples.
The owners added: “We are so pleased to see a member of our local community benefiting from this incredible cash prize.
“It’s not something you see every day and we’re so happy it has happened here.”
“We’re looking forward to the Easter Edition of Spinner Winner and will be encouraging everyone to take part.”
