In September 2023, the sun set on Adventure Parc Snowdonia.
The £12 million 40-acre site, which boasted the world’s first inland surf lagoon, closed with immediate effect on September 1.
This was due to technical difficulties with the wave pool which caused staff a "fortune in downtime, repairs and loss of business."
