VISITORS will be able to embark on a journey through time during a 'Living History' event.

The immersive event is being held at Gwrych Castle between May 25 and 27. It is being hosted by HMS Wales Re-enactment Society, a Naval re-enactment group who portray the lives of those who served in the Royal Navy during the age of sail and Admiral Nelson’s career, 1805.

There will be various challenges for people to take part in such as the 'Nelson’s Navy Challenge', viewing canons and games.

"Even though the landscape has changed a bit since then due to the formal gardens being reinstated, we’re looking forward to bringing some of that nostalgia back and to host more events like this.
