THE CAYLEY Promenade in Rhos-on-Sea is expected to reopen next week, bringing an end to more than a year of work.
After extensive work on the Rhos-on-Sea seafront, and several delays, the road and promenade is being cleared by contractors.
The council expects the road to reopen next week to pedestrians, cyclists and cars.

Construction of new kiosks and shelters would continue for several months, the council said.
A Conwy County Borough Council spokesperson said: "What the resident was told is not correct.
"Our contractors are starting to clear the site, as they expect to open the road and the promenade next week for pedestrians, cyclists and cars.
"There will still be some snagging work to be done over the next few weeks, and work to add the kiosks and shelters will continue over the next few months."
