A 'WALK and talk' group is making good strides and is attracting an encouraging response.
Letitia Spencer, of Prestatyn, launched the group in January 2023 after wanting to do more walking herself. Walks have taken in areas in Conwy and Denbighshire.
She said: "I also wanted to bring people together and help support people who suffer with mental health or social anxiety. Being in the outdoors helps with mental health and it has been great bringing people together, especially after the pandemic, it has been a lonely time for some people.
"Each month this year we have been doing a walk in a local area and then we stop for a coffee somewhere and a chat.
"Seeing everyone leave so happy makes it all worthwhile."
Letitia added: "I am so happy with the outcome of these walks as helping others is very important to me.
"I am going to continue these walks in 2024 and hope to welcome more people along the way."
The next February 'Walk and Talk' event will takes place on Sunday, February 11 at 11am. The walk will leave Rhyl Harbour Cycling bridge and make its way to Kite Surf where walkers can grab a coffee before walking back.
Meeting point: Near the bridge opposite The Range carpark.
