AN EXCITING and "intimate" music event is coming to Colwyn Bay.
DJ Martin Taylor will be presenting Bourgie', Bourgie' at Sheldon's in Colwyn Bay. The event is described as a "glittering hemisphere of exceptional disco and house music".
Martin said: "This night is a real treat for anybody wanting a slice of real disco, house music and club classics."
On the night, Martin will performing a five hour DJ set to a small crowd of less than 100 people. There will be some limited unreserved seating on a first come basis.
Martin said the project had been in the making for some time.
"I recognise the huge gap on the North Wales coast for people to go and have a safe night out with 'proper' music," he said.
The team behind Bourgie', Bourgie' events have thrown time, funding, preparation and ideas into the project to ensure customers experience a "world class" night out on their doorstep.
"The venue will be transformed by the team into a disco wonderland featuring a state of the art sound and disco lighting show, lots and lots of mirror balls, disco art, confetti canons and other surprises," Martin said.
"Sheldon's promise an extensive menu of delicious disco inspired drinks, including a mouth watering selection of cocktails."

Martin is recognised locally and further afield for his unique music selection and flamboyant DJ sets, the likes of which have been showcased in America, Dubai, London, Ibiza, Singapore, Cyprus, Bahrain and all over the UK.
Martin was handpicked by global phenomenon Ministry of Sound to be their resident DJ in Asia.
Residents may recall the enjoyment experienced at nearby local parties over the past year, at venues including Blend in Llandudno, The Mulberry in Conwy and The Oak Lounge in Abergele. All these events sold out.
Martin, owner of Bourgie', Bourgie' events, takes inspiration from the best bar and club nights the world, including Glitterbox, Studio 54, Ministry of Sound, The Hacienda and Hed Kandi, together with his own experiences and illustrious moments behind the decks.
Consideration has been given to the cost of living crisis. Tickets have been capped to £10pp to help people enjoy the event without having to having to break the bank.
The event will take place at Sheldon's on February 10 from 7.30pm until late.
