A COUPLE of 20mph signs in Llanrhos have been defaced in reference to the implementation of the changes to speed limits across Wales last September.
The signs, on the B5115 near Bryn Lupus Road, have had the words “INEPT CCBC (Conwy County Borough Council)” and “SHAME” spray painted on to them.
From September 17, 2023, most roads in Wales that had 30mph speed limits became 20mph, with the First Minister, Mark Drakeford, insistent that it will reduce crashes and save lives.

“Damaging traffic signs is classed as criminal damage and we have made the police aware of the issue.
“Vandalising signs can put road users in danger.”
