*UPDATE - The woman has since been identified
OFFICERS investigating a serious public order offence have released a CCTV image in connection.
The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Saturday, November 25 on a train travelling between Chester and Llandudno Junction.
A woman with two crutches was travelling from the Midlands to Llandudno Junction when a group of people joined the busy service at Chester.
The group sat near the woman and started to swear at her because her suitcase was taking up space on the train and made derogatory comments about the way she spoke. This abuse lasted for about 30-minutes.
The victim left the service at Llandudno Junction and the group of people stayed on the train until they got off at Holyhead.
