New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to nine businesses in Conwy, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The food hygiene rating scheme gives businesses in England and Wales a rating of 0-5, 5 being the highest, based on their hygiene standards. 

The scheme is run in partnership with local authorities and in Wales businesses are obligated to display their rating. 

Restaurants, cafes and canteens

  • Rated 5: The Sandwich Boutique at 13 Conway Road, Colwyn Bay; rated on December 7
  • Rated 5: Dylan's Restaurant at 9-13 High Street, Conwy; rated on November 23
  • Rated 4: Blue Elephant at 96-98 Gloddaeth Street, Llandudno; rated on November 20
  • Rated 2: Dionyssos Resto at 11 Everard Road, Rhos-on-Sea; rated on November 16
  • Rated 2: We Cycle at Conway Road, Llandudno Junction; rated on November 23

Pubs, bars and nightclubs
