A FATHER and son who both admitted burgling Conwy Lodge Park have been told to expect a prison sentence.
James Mayhew, 45, of Cae Derwen, Llanfair Talhaiarn; and his son, Jessie Mayhew, 27, of Mostyn Road, Colwyn Bay; each admitted charges of burglary (dwelling) with intent to steal at Caernarfon Crown Court today (January 2).
The charges related to an incident at one of the park’s lodges on December 19, 2022.
Their sentencing was adjourned to Friday, January 12; also at Caernarfon Crown Court.
Judge Niclas Parry, presiding over today’s hearing, told them: “You’re long enough in the tooth to know that I’d be lying to you if I told you not to prepare for a custodial sentence.”
