ANOTHER business in Colwyn Bay has closed, with the shutters brought down at the town's Costcutter store.
The store, at the corner of Abergele Road and Conway Road, appears to have become the latest of several businesses to close their doors in the town.
This comes with the abrupt closure of the adjacent Subway, and with the Poundland and Boots stores set to close next year, marks a worrying trend for Colwyn Bay.

Residents noticed the shutters had been down at Costcutter, with no warning given ahead of the closure, and with staff being made redundant.
The site was also made up of a Bargain Booze, which has closed.
David Jones, MP for Clwyd West, said he would be meeting with the council later this week to see what was being done to "stop the closures".
He told the Pioneer: "I am seeing the council leader Charlie McCoubrey on Thursday to ask what Conwy are doing to improve Colwyn Bay as a shopping centre and stop the closures."
Costcutter was approached for comment.
