The court heard that, on June 16, Bonatti attended Cohens Chemist, at West End Medical Centre on Conway Road, when he spat at John Kemp, an employee working there.
As well as his prison sentence, Bonatti was handed a six-year restraining order.
The terms of this order prohibit him from entering Cohens Chemist, or contacting Mr Kemp by any means whatsoever, directly or indirectly.
Bonatti avoided having to pay costs due to his lack of means.
