A COUPLE of female entrepreneurs from Denbighshire have opened the doors to a new shop in Rhyl supporting small businesses.
Seren Dream opened on Saturday, November 4 at 6a Wellington Road, with a gift for the first 30 people to walk through the doors.
It has been opened by Lisa Williams, 37, from Rhyl, alongside her friend and fellow businesswoman, mum-of-three Anne-Marie Jones, 36, from Denbigh.
Lisa shared how incredible the feedback has been from the town and small businesses.
A life coach and best-selling author who runs the “Vision Board Queen” business, Lisa emphasised just how excited she was from the feedback.
She said: “I am excited to kick of the festive season here in my hometown of Rhyl; helping small businesses is a huge passion of mine.”
Anne-Marie shared how happy she was to be involved in such a worthy cause to help small businesses.
The duo has pulled together more than 20 small businesses who all each rent a shelf in the shop.
There is a wide range of items, from jewellery, gifts, homemade bath and body products, clothing for adults and children, crystals, books, and much more.
Some of the businesses involved include Jewel Tree Cymru, Sunflower Moon Crystals, Moonbabies Massage and Les Frogs.
Along with having space for small businesses, Lisa and Anne-Marie have also put together a festive schedule for families to come along and get into the festive spirit.
You can book onto any festive activities via the website or call into the store to book: www.serendream.co.uk.
They have Santa letter writing workshops, festive story time, painting and card making.
Plus, they will also have a special appearance from the Grinch in a grotto.
The team at Seren Dream has also put together an appeal for donations for children and adults; they are looking for donations to help create hampers for Christmas.
They will be donating the hampers to Blossom & Bloom, a charity that helps safeguard women with young babies in Rhyl, and any remaining hampers will be donated to the Foryd Community Centre and its foodbank.
