THE OWNER of a popular restaurant in Llandudno has said they are “ecstatic” about being highly commended at the Welsh Restaurant Awards.
The Seahorse, at 7 Church Walks, was ‘highly commended’ in the ‘Fine Dining Restaurant of the Year’ category at the awards.
The restaurant narrowly missed out on being named the best in Wales, which instead went to The Mine at CF47 & Castelany’s Fine Dining, Merthyr Tydfil.

Owner Theresa Morrissey bought the business from long-time owners Don and Gill Hadwin in June, and has put in countless hours “updating” the premises.
She said the award commendation was testament to the hard work the team had put in.
Theresa told the Pioneer: “We are ecstatic about the award and thank our very small team for all their hard work and persistence with all the changes.”
