The Llandudno Christmas Extravaganza 2023 is underway.
The four-day Christmas event - which was first held in 2021 - opened on Thursday (November 16) morning and will run until Sunday (November 19).
Llandudno Mayor Cllr Greg Robbins and Miss Alice 2023/24 Poppy Bowen-Roberts officially opened proceedings just after 10am on Thursday.
The official opening was followed by Christmas carols from Ysgol Morfa Rhianedd Choir getting everyone in the crowd in the festive spirit and beginning the countdown to Christmas in Llandudno.
Crowds of people began filtering into the event following the opening to take a look at what the Christmas Extravaganza has to offer and start their preparations for the festive season ahead.
What to expect from the Llandudno Christmas Extravaganza in 2023
The 2023 Llandudno Christmas Extravaganza - which is free to attend - is set to feature live music, stalls from local traders as well as a range of fairground rides.
There will be plenty of food and drink on offer as well, including mulled wine to keep attendees warm during the colder weather.
For the children, Mr and Mrs Clause will be paying a visit to the event, so be sure not to miss your chance to meet them.
The Igloos are back again this year, positioned on the grass by the Holy Trinity Church.
People can hire igloos, which feature heaters and lights and fit up to eight people, during the Christmas Extravaganza.
You can book timeslots for the igloos via the Llandudno Christmas Extravaganza website.
Last year's event attracted more than 30,000 people so you will need to get in quick to secure your spot because places will sell out.
