A POPULAR café in Llandudno is set to close next month, saying the decision was made with a “heavy heart”.

Emjays Café, in The Mall Shopping Arcade at 39 Mostyn Street, announced it will cease trading from December 24 due to “personal reasons”.

The owners said the café was now available to buy, with “wonderful customers and a warm, cosy atmosphere”.

In a social media notice to customers, Emjays Café said: “It's with a heavy heart that we have decided to close Emjays Cafe due to personal reasons.

“However, the opportunity to buy the cafe is available.

“It's a wonderful little cafe with amazing customers and a warm, cosy atmosphere.

“If you are interested, please message the page privately, and more details will be provided.

“Our last day of trading will be the 24th of December.

“Thank you so much to all our customers - this decision has been extremely difficult to make.”
