AN INQUEST has opened into the death of a young man in a crash on the A55 in Conwy.
Kian Daniel Collier, of Tan-Y-Lan Road, Old Colwyn, died following the incident on the eastbound carriageway near the Penmaenbach tunnel in the early hours of October 28.
At County Hall in Ruthin on Monday (November 6), an inquest was opened into the 22-year-old's death in the crash.
Kate Robertson, assistant coroner for North Wales East and Central, said that Mr Collier was the driver of a vehicle involved in the collision.
Mr Collier's death was confirmed at 6.05am and a pathologist's cause of death following a post-mortem examination is multiple injuries due to a road traffic collision.
