THE 101-year-old grandma of the owner of a shop in Llandudno stepped in to serve customers and “earn her keep”.
Doris served customers at The Crystal Hut at Clonmel Street, which is owned by her grandson Paul Hales and his partner Kris Meredith.
Doris, who is from Widnes and now lives in Bolton, defied age and served diligently, with Kris saying “customers loved it”.

Kris said: “Paul’s gran came to visit us yesterday as she’s staying with us for a few days.
“She may be 101, but she still wanted to earn her keep - happy days always.
“It was a beautiful day and customers loved it!”
The Clonmel Street store opened in January, and is one of two Crystal Hut stores the pair own in Llandudno, with the original store on the pier.
