AN INQUEST has opened into the death of a man in a house fire in Llandudno.
Peter James Cleeve was found dead in his home on Church Crescent by firefighters who had been called to the scene of the blaze on the evening of September 24.
At County Hall in Ruthin on Monday (October 2), an inquest was opened into the 80-year-old's death.
John Gittins, senior coroner for North Wales East and Central, said firefighters had been called to the property late in the evening on September 24 - within which they found Mr Cleeve's body. He was formally pronounced dead at 11.43pm.
A full inquest has been adjourned until a later date.
