WHITE BLOCKS which can are potentially fatal to dogs have washed up on Llandudno’s West Shore beach.
The blocks, which were spotted by residents on Tuesday (September 26), are palm oil bergs.
If eaten by a dog, palm oil can cause sickness, diarrhoea and dehydration, and could be fatal.

Palm oil is not harmful to humans, and is used in bread, ice cream and other processed foods, as well as cosmetics and toiletries.
A Conwy County Borough Council spokesperson said: “Palm oil is not commonly washed up on beaches in Conwy county.
“If we receive reports of palm oil, our harbour staff will check the area.”
Natural Resources Wales said the council were responsible for the beach area.
