A SURGERY in Colwyn Bay has redirected patients due to the “exceptional demands” on their services today (September 22).
The West End Medical Centre, on Conway Road, took to social media to encourage patients to use alternative methods, and that they would be better served contacting other health services.
This was due to “exceptional demands” on the centre’s services, which is only taking in urgent requests.

In a post on social media, the surgery said: “At present, West End Medical Centre is experiencing exceptional demands on its services, and therefore are only able to take urgent requests today, Friday 22 September 2023.
“We encourage patients to use the following services/methods: local pharmacy/pharmacist, minor ailment scheme, 111, minor injuries and for urgent care A & E.
“Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
