A NIGHT of frights will take place in Colwyn Bay this Halloween.

Wackadoo Events presents a Festival of Frights at The Station Inn, Colwyn Bay, of Friday, October 27, featuring eight of the UK's top alternative cabaret performers.

The line up includes North Wales drag stars The Royal Serenity and Gutterslut, and a host of thrilling and chilling acts.

They include Miss Diagnosis, Rex Cherry, Glitter King, Melancholy, Scorpia, Jacques 'n' Their Box, and professional singer and DJ Becki Jacobs from Old Colwyn.

The night will conclude with a karaoke after party until 2am.

There will also be a fancy dress competition - so dress to impress!

Wackadoo Events was established in 2023 By Nykolas Shipway (aka Gutterslut) and Anya Bailey.

Nykolas noticed that there was a complete lack of Alternative Drag and Queer Art in North Wales, specifically in Colwyn Bay.

With that in mind, Wackadoo Events exists to facilitate all drag and fosters the slogan “All Drag Is Valid”.

Nykolas said: "We're paying queer artists competitive rates and bringing what is usually reserved for the city clubs and queer bars to sunny Colwyn Bay and beyond.

"We believe in setting a standard for the local area and paying these performers what they deserve.

"I can't wait for everyone to see the hard work we have put in to make it bigger, better and spookier."

Doors open at 8pm with the show starting at 8.30pm.
