A HAPPY couple got married on Llandudno’s West Shore beach on the weekend, surrounded by friends and their dogs, and with a performance from ‘Elvis’.
Jo and Paul Weaver celebrated their big day on the dog friendly section of West Shore beach, with several friends and their dogs, being serenaded by an Elvis impersonator prior to being married by the singer.
“The day went fantastically,” Jo told the Pioneer.
“We used the dog friendly bit of West Shore beach so our three rescue dogs could be part of the service, and a number of our friends brought their dogs too.

“After Elvis played 'Viva Llandudno!' he then proceeded to marry us with help of the best woman and then wrapped up proceedings with an Elvis medley.”
After the service, the couple and their guests went back to The Lilly Restaurant with Rooms on the West Shore promenade, and in Jo’s words, “partied until late”.
The couple, who are both members of the Friends of the West Shore community group, added: “Thank you all for your patience while we got married on the far beach which allows dogs on.
“They were an integral part of our day.”
