A TOUR featuring seven 1960s acts, playing some of the hits that shaped 20th century pop culture in Britain and across the world, will come to Llandudno’s Venue Cymru.

“60s Gold: The 60s Explosion” will treat fans to 63 “Top 10” hits during the course of the evening, and in-between, some stories and memories from giants of the post-war pop generation.

The tour will stop off at Venue Cymru on Tuesday, October 3, with the following acts on the bill:

  • Herman’s Hermits – “Manchester’s first mega band”
  • Marmalade – “Scotland’s first mega band”
  • Steve Ellis – “scored a No.1 hit before he’d even signed a record contract”
  • Spencer James (of The Searchers) – “guitarist in the longest-running band In UK pop history”
  • Dave Berry – “the biggest-selling hit single in the history of the Benelux nations”
  • The Fourmost – “60th anniversary of Merseybeat stars who worked alongside The Beatles”
  • Gerry’s Pacemakers – “Liverpool’s true Anthem Makers”
