Following an impressive haul of A-Level results, 34 per cent of GCSE candidates secured A* (9-8) grades.
50 per cent of Rydal Penrhos pupils earned A* or A (9 to 7) grades; a figure that substantially exceeds the Welsh national average of 21.7 per cent.
93 per cent of candidates claimed A* to C (9 to 4) grades, compared to 64.9 per cent in the rest of Wales.
Among the standout performers from Year 11 was Corso Cramerotti, who dropped only one grade across all his subjects, securing six A*s, four 9s, one 8 and a Distinction in Additional Maths.

Year 10 pupils sitting their exams a year early also performed particularly well, with Keira Luke and Finlay Perry scoring perfect A*s or 9s across the board.
Tom Hutchinson, who will assume the role of principal from September, said: “These are an exceptional set of results - I would like to congratulate our tremendously hard-working pupils and thank all the teachers and parents who have supported them along the way.
“Many of the pupils getting their results today were only twelve or thirteen years old when the pandemic forced them to face unprecedented new challenges.
“Their capacity to overcome those obstacles and achieve outstanding results is a testament to their character, the resilience of the school community, and the quality of teaching and learning at Rydal Penrhos.
“I wish our Year 11 pupils all the best as they begin their time in the Sixth Form, where they will no doubt go from strength-to-strength.”
